Mieke

Her story:

Mieke had an adventurous life, lived on the Spanish coast, founded a school in the mountains of Nepal and brought people together through art and stories.

Over the years, her body made it more challenging to go on adventures. But she still pushes boundaries every day on canvas and among people.

Figures, animals, universes, watercolor, chalk, oil paint, ... Each work is a rediscovery for her and the viewer. She now gives back the input she received from the world.

She also does this in the studio of the Facktorij, a collective of passionate artists with a story, where she is a permanent fixture and she shares her expertise and care with companions.
