Her story:
My life consists of painting in the Living Museum in New York. I make flowers, animals, and scenes with strong women in them. The paintings are fantasy of course, but they do give me strength and hope to cope with things that are tough. Creedmoor gave me space and opportunity to be a real artist. I have shown my work in galleries, I sell my work, I am happy, I am Paula Brooks.
Located in Queens, New York City, The Living Museum is an art studio dedicated to presenting art produced by outsider artists from the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in New York.
