Artist - Paula Brooks

Her story:

My life consists of painting in the Living Museum in New York. I make flowers, animals, and scenes with strong women in them. The paintings are fantasy of course, but they do give me strength and hope to cope with things that are tough.

Creedmore gave me space and opportunity to be a real artist. I have shown my work in galleries, I sell my work, I am happy, I am Paula Brooks.

Located in Queens, New York City, The Living Museum is an art studio dedicated to presenting art produced by outsider artists from the Creedmoor Psychiatric Center in New York.

We make socks

When you buy a pair of socks, a bit of magic happens. We create a pair of socks in our Social Sock Factory. A place where we provide work to people from the streets. And... all these socks we give away to those in need.

We donate socks

Socks are not collected but thrown away worn out. Many people depend on clothing collection, there is a shortage! Together we can solve this. Unique socks for you, warm feet for them.
