His story
Luc Derck, aka Luclear, artist formerly known as “young man”.
We met Luc through De Facktorij, a collective of passionate artists with a story.
His description of his life is as follows
. “My generation can't get no satisfaction. Born in Deurne, raised in Kortrijk. Go where no one went. Paint and canvas as therapy.
Figurative becomes abstract becomes figurative. The depth of the plane. The wavelength of the colors. No titles because everyone looks differently. Independently dependent. Square. Bauhaus and Mondriaan prevail.
