Lida (68) paints at the DoeMeeHuis and finds calm, joy, and confidence through art. Her work is characterized by attention, refinement, and a strong eye for detail. For this sock, she translated her painting style into a lighter, more playful design with one goal: to make people happy. Knowing that her art now helps support others makes this project especially meaningful to her.
Our January sock is based on the artwork of Rob (77) from SWOM Montfoort: a cheerful, colorful underwater world teeming with life. Creative, warm, and meaningful.
Artur was born in Poland and has lived in the Netherlands since 1992. He has been drawing his entire life — it’s his way of understanding the world. His style is explosive, colourful and full of hidden details. Artur sees shapes and stories everywhere, and because he remembers everything, from history to topography, his work is packed with surprises.
His December sock bursts with colour, energy and little discoveries: every time you look at it, you spot something new.
Helen has been an artist for almost her entire life. Her work mirrors her own journey — intense, honest, and full of emotion.
