Artist Dave Bastiaans

Dave was a dreamy and absent child in elementary school. He felt insecure and inferior in high school. These feelings were so bad that he decided to drop out.

In hindsight, it was all his psychological problems at the time that caused this situation. He started hanging out with the wrong friends and it was during this period that his mental health problems surfaced.

He ended up in psychiatry. A long and hard time during which he began to paint more and more. After living as a homeless person for a short time, he has been living independently again for 3 years and medication and art help him suppress his fears and depression.
